OUR WILDLIFE
The vast grounds of the Mela Kothi are a haven for a diverse range of wildlife, home to over 198 species of birds and small mammals. The best time to explore and spot the local wildlife is during the evening Nature Walks, led by our resident naturalists. As the sun sets, these walks offer the opportunity to encounter creatures such as Palm Civet Cats, Jungle Cats, Foxes, Jungle Hares, Fruit Bats, Hedgehogs and the elusive Indian Striped Hyena.
